Since, as previously stated, I do not believe in “medicine and science” I wonder if he might be possessed by the devil. If he is, should I strap him to a chair, lock him in a room and read the bible for him each morning? That is what I had in mind, but I just want to be sure before doing it.

I am sorry to hear about you sons illness. But i would like to say that it is no long called Mental Retardation. No i would not strap him to a chair or lock him in a room. Your son is ill and needs help and support. He need medicine not some one to read him story’s. A personality disorder is a chemical imbalance in the brain and he need medicine to balance the chemical. I think you will in the end make you son really ill if you do what you are planing to do. I do think that it is sick what he is doing but why is he doing this? Go back to the Doctor and get the medicine, help and support he need. I have mental Health problems and with the right help and support i am slow getting better. There are many support group you and your son can go to. Ask your Doctor about any in your local community. It not all abot taking medicine but it dose help some people. I hope i have help you son and you understand Mental Health.
